When the Battlefield 3 Beta came out on the PS3, I was ready to download it. I am talking the SECOND it was available. I downloaded it, installed it, and hopped right on. What were my first impressions? THIS GAME IS SO F’N GREAT. I literally played it for almost 2 weeks straight, and invested 54 hours of play time (in game time). I also reached level 53.

The BF3 Beta was amazing, but they say it wasnt a current build, not even remotely close! Say whattt? And now that people have played the final release, I am convinced this will, quote me here, WILL, be the game of the year.

I will (hopefully) be picking up Battlefield 3 at midnight on release date, and im counting down the days! And if you want to do the same head over to the Battlefield 3 Countdown Page!

I will be posting an after release post of both multiplayer and single player.

I recently downloaded Saints Row 2, the alternative to Grand Theft Auto, from the Playstation Store, and I have to say, this is an amazing game. I actually never thought there was a viable alternative to GTA but I have found it now!

For anyone that has not picked this game up, I suggest you check it out (it is only $20 on the Playstation Store) and also has free DLC. Also the third addition to this game, Saints Row: The Third, is coming out 11/15/2011, which I have already pre ordered .

Make sure you check out the Saints Row: The Third Countdown Page!

RSS is dead….for me at least. I find myself on Twitter and Google+ more and more these days to get my news instead of on Google Reader. Don’t get me wrong, Google Reader is a fascinating product that tons of users enjoy, but I happen to not be one of those users.

Back about 2 years ago I use to keep the GReader tab open on my browser (then 100% Firefox) just to keep up with my news. Scrolling through new posts, categorizing everything for easy finding. But now I just search for #hash #tags and scroll through my followers timeline in ChromeDeck (TweetDeck for Chrome) to get my news fix.

I write this post because, with my new blog, I noticed the RSS button in the top right, and honestly cannot remember the last time I even saw that on a website…. I am sure that they are there, but I just do not see them anymore.

So I ask you this, is it a bad thing to completely move away from RSS and only use Twitter, could I be missing important news? Should I start using GReader again? Please let me know your opinions in the comments.
